| CLIMATE CONCERT – 12pm – 1 pm in the winter gardens – this will take the form of a concert with songs, poems and readings and candle lighting – friday 3DEC . In the morning from 10.30 we’ll be making ‘best things in life are free’ presents with passers by like paper snowflakes, flowers, butterflies etc. ) |
Campaign against Climate Change are organising a procession which will assemble at 1.15pm in Tudor Square and proceed along Norfolk Row, up and down Fargate, Pinstone St , up and down Moor and back to Town hall steps for about 2.30 – 3pm. Because of this shopping area route we aim to be long and narrow – just about 2 or 3 abreast. Contact lindaduckenfield@yahoo.com if you can do this.
There will be 2 making sessions for banners and things from cardboard etc. Friday 26th Nov 2-6pm and Saturday 10-12.30am with soup! At linda’s, 208, Albert Road, S8 9RB , contact as above or 2207506. Many hands make light work – please come!
