i think the cuts to the children’s centres is going to be a very very wrong move, by the council. What will be the full impact of their actions. This will not save money in the long run. Other problems will arise from the cuts. Parents that work and have their children at CC may have to think about giving up their work ( who minds the child) while they are out at work. Will we have the home alone situation??? I do believe there are many other ways the council could cut spending. There are many undeserved well paid positions in the council, which do not have any impact on communities. It seems to me that the council should be looking elsewhere to reduce it’s spending. Why take away something that is essential, and i feel in the long run something else will have to replace it. That means even more uneccessary spending. Why not just leave whats in place to begin with??
