Green Fair 2013
Sheffield’s Green Fair is taking place again at St Mary’s Community Centre on 13th July 2013.

Live music and entertainers, children’s play area and activities, beer tent and wholefood cafe, vintage fair and craft fair, and other stalls (indoors and outdoors), bike workshop, and evening film showing.
Admission only £2; concessions £1; under-16s free.

Main Stage
11-11.30 Shar-Le-Reign – 1st Green Fair appearance for this talented soul-inspired singer
12-12.30 Opus Jazz Band – welcome return for festival favourites
12.30-1.00 Bella Shimmy – Belly Dance Class. Lively performances followed by a chance for the audience to participate
1-1.30 Brick Budgie – folk songs & tunes from festival regulars
1.30-1.50 Sheffield Samba Band – need no introduction!
1.50-2 Bedroom Farce – a short play
2-2.30 The Clench – a new band to us making their first Green Fair appearance – Wild West Americana
2.30-3 B*Zumba – join in with easy, energetic Zumba dance
3-3.30 Johnny & The Prison Didn’t Help Boys – last year’s show stealers play Country & Northern Geordiecana
3.30-4 Early Cartographers – first Green Fair appearance for this hugely original acoustic band
4-4.10 Laughter Yoga with Dal Kular
4.10-4.20 Paul Pearson – regular Green Fair performer, backed by festival closing act:-
4.20-5 Haze – 2nd year running for Haze, now with a new CD ‘The Last Battle’

11.45-12.15 Mohammed Chobineh – Sheffield college X factor winner
12.30-1.00 Paul Pearson – an intimate solo spot
1.15-1.45 Sheffield Harmony Chorus – 1st time at the fair for this new choir
2-2.30 Ukewind – another festival first, the unique sound of Hawkwind on ukulele!
2.30-2.45 Another chance to laugh with Dal Kular’s laughter yoga session
2.45-3.15 Purple Cats – welcome return of one of our favourite choirs
3.30-4 Mark Atherton – talented singer/songwriter
4.15-4.45 David Howard – singer guitarist from Sheffield indie band The Hudares
5-7 Informal acoustic music session, all styles & abilities welcome. Bring an instrument, sing a song or just listen.
