Natalie Bennett, leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, visited Sheffield yesterday.
At the University she joined with Young Greens and Peter Garbutt, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Sheffield Hallam. Students queued up to meet Natalie and over 250 of them joined the Young Greens. Here’s a massive WELCOME to all you new members- together we can make a significant impact in next years local and General elections. A journalist asked Natalie which policies were attracting young people to the Green Party and she emphasised the £10 minimum wage, the abolition of student fees and the end of zero-hours contracts.

Later Natalie visited Strip the Willow and various local businesses in the Antiques Quarter. Green Party policies will help local businesses compete against the unfair competition of the retail giants.
