On Saturday 21st March,people gathered from all over the Yorkshire and Humber region to support Jillian Creasy in her campaign to become the first Green MP in the North of England. After some inspiring speeches at Victoria Hall we split into groups to deliver cards and canvass in many different parts of the constituency.
15 people canvassed in Nether Edge, from as far afield as Hull, Huddersfield and Wath. We had a great response from local people. Another 70+ people distributed Vote Jillian Creasy Green Party election information. Thanks to everyone who took part in the day. We will be canvassing daily from now until the elections.
