Do you want to help the Green Party succeed in Sheffield and Rotherham? Your role will be responsible for engaging and mobilising volunteers to help us to succeed. Your initial focus will be on co-developing a volunteer engagement plan based on the needs of the Party so that we can achieve our ambitious goals. You will engage, inspire and retain volunteers. You will lead a needs assessment and establish teams to carry forward SRGP’s work.You will support these activities through using our digital platform and will be a champion for it, including training Officers/Leads across the local Party. You will seek ways to mentor and empower Officers and Active Members and act as an expert in your area of responsibility.
You are a self-starter, confident at holding your own in a changing organisation. You are pro-active. You are either a Member of the Green Party or your values and beliefs are sympathetic to those of the Green Party.
This role is part-time, 18.5 hours per week; partly home-based. It is a 12 month contract, starting as soon as possible.
£27,000 p.a. pro-rata (equalling £13,500 p.a. for 18.5 hours per week; home-working allowance and travel allowance are applicable). Some flexibility is required.
