Sheffield Green Party is hosting a big public event on Thursday 15th October on Climate Change.
The meeting will look at the difference good Green governance can do in Sheffield. Two speakers will talk about their experience of what we can do in Sheffield to tackle climate change and make Sheffield a better place.

Andrew Cooper, Green Party Spokesperson on Energy and the Environment
Andrew Cooper is the Green Party’s Spokesperson on Energy and the Environment. He will be speaking about council homes and solar panels, and the real progress he has helped bring about in Kirklees, where he is a Green Councillor.
Jenny Patient is from Sheffield Climate Alliance and will be speaking about “divestment” from fossil fuels and about creating new green jobs.

The meeting will be held at the Central United Reformed Church at 60 Norfolk St, Sheffield S1 2JB at 7pm. Amy’s Excellent Cakes will be served for refreshments.
The meeting is open to members and non-members alike and is free.
