Green Party members will be joining a regional Palestinian Solidarity Campaign boycott outside Sainsbury’s on the Moor at 12 noon on the 7th June- this Saturday. Palestine Solidarity Campaign has been targeting Sainsbury’s to try to get them to stop trading with companies that profit from the Israeli occupation. Sainsbury’s has been chosen because it has an ethical trade policy and we want them to look at the implications of their trade with Israel. PSC’s targetting of the Coop was eventually successful. Sainsbury’s are proving to be a much harder company to shift. It is their AGM on the 9th July and this is the last big action before that. I hope you can come and sing our specially written songs. Protesters will be informing customers and sales staff about the Israeli goods Sainsbury’s stocks and the impacts this has on Palestine. The protest will not stop customers from shopping there.
Stop buying Israeli goods. Sainsbury’s on the Moor this Saturday.
