Council Elections May 6th 2021
Council elections due in May 2020 will now be held on 6 May. On the same date, there will also be the referendum on changing to the way Sheffield City Council is run – Sheffield Green Party is a registered supporter of the It’s Our City campaign. We encourage you to vote for change!
General election – 12th December 2019
Every vote for the Green Party is a vote for radical action to stop climate breakdown.
European elections – 23rd May 2019
Outgoing Sheffield Lord Mayor Magid Magid was selected in a ballot of all Green Party members in the Yorkshire and Humber to be the lead candidate for the European elections on May 23rd and was duly elected, serving for a short period before Brexit.

Council elections – May 2019
In the May 2019 council elections Sheffield Green Party stood in all 28 wards and four new Green councillors were elected: Angela Argenzio in Broomhill and Sharrow Vale, Paul Turpin in Gleadless Valley, Peter Garbutt in Nether Edge & Sharrow and Ruth Mersereau in City Ward.

Council elections – May 2018
In the May 2018 council elections Sheffield Green Party stood in all 28 wards and successfully returned Councillor Alison Teal in Nether Edge & Sharrow as well as electing two new Green councillors, Kaltum Rivers in Broomhill & Sharrow Vale and Martin Phipps in City Ward.
