This comment from Central ward Green councillor Jillian Creasy on the demonstration against NHS privatisation and charges for treatment Tuesday 24th July from 4.30 to 6pm at the NHS Walk In Centre, Broad Lane which she will be attending.“The Green Party believes that health care should be free and is opposed to private companies taking over the NHS. The walk-in centre on Broad Lane is popular because people can pop in at any time- but we are now starting to see the true cost of setting up services in competition with normal NHS GPs.”
