It’s clear from talking to people on the doorstep that many people don’t know about the council ward boundary changes that come into effect for the May 5th elections. That’s unfortunate as these are important elections with all councillors having to stand for re-election. Everyone will have 3 votes to elect 3 local councillors and it’s effectively four years council elections rolled into one. With all 84 seats being contested, I hope large numbers of Sheffield people will vote, so that the future Council has a feel for the views of local people.
